I’m green™ – sustainable Green PE
Our supplier relies on I’m green™, an innovative material that makes a real difference: instead of fossil resources, sugarcane – a renewable raw material – is used to produce polyethylene (PE).
The result: packaging that looks and performs just like conventional plastic – but with a significantly better ecological footprint.
How does it work?
Conventional polyethylene is based 100% on oil and natural gas. I’m green™, on the other hand, uses sugarcane as a renewable resource. During its growth, the plant absorbs CO₂ from the atmosphere. This means the material already makes a measurable contribution to climate protection during production.
Practical benefits
The quality speaks for itself: I’m green™ is just as durable, heat-sealable, and protective as traditional PE. Food products or other sensitive goods remain reliably packaged without compromising shelf life or product safety.
Sustainable yet familiar
Since it is chemically identical to polyethylene, I’m green™ can be easily recycled within the existing plastic cycle. For producers, retailers, and consumers this means: familiar processes, fewer fossil resources, and more sustainability.
Together, we can protect high-quality food products, reduce the use of fossil raw materials, and at the same time lower CO₂ emissions – an important step toward a more sustainable future.
