Price Adjustment Due to Global Market Developments

The global economic situation is currently undergoing significant changes – and we at WEBER Packaging are not unaffected by this. The ongoing escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, along with the associated geopolitical and logistical impacts, is increasingly putting pressure on international supply chains.

What does this mean in concrete terms?
Rising energy costs, limited availability of certain raw materials, increased transportation and insurance costs, as well as disruptions to key sea and air freight routes are currently creating considerable uncertainty in global procurement and supply flows.

In addition, some of our long-term contracts have been temporarily suspended due to force majeure – extraordinary circumstances beyond our control.

Against this backdrop, we are compelled to implement short-term price adjustments. That said, we all hope that the situation will stabilize soon and that more predictable conditions will return.
